About

Why did you create this website? What is wrong with you?

Various reasons, and lots of things. ;-) Firstly, I found myself with a growing number of TS bootlegs, and I wanted to neatly categorize them all. Secondly, I thought there might be other nutcases like me with a lot of TS bootlegs – I sort of wanted to create an overview of what’s out there, because no one else seems to have done that. And finally, I was a bit bored and had some time to kill. You’re looking at the result.

How do you grade your bootlegs in terms of quality?

On most bootlegs, you’ll find a rating ranging from C to A+. In school you would get by with a C, but here you won’t. The ratings mean:

  • A+: Top quality. Soundboard recordings, FM broadcasts or exceptionally good audience recordings.
  • A: Good quality. Most people will enjoy this just fine.
  • A-: Decent quality. Not good, but not bad either.
  • B: Pretty bad, but passable. Most sane people will probably not want to listen to this.
  • C: Terrible, this stinks. Completists only, and even they will probably never listen to it unless maybe forced at gunpoint.

Of course sound ratings are totally subjective, but there you go.

What different sources for bootlegs are there?

  • AUD: Audience recording.
  • SBD: Soundboard recording.
  • FM: Radio broadcast.
  • TV: TV broadcast.
  • WEB: Webcast/stream.
  • DVD: DVD rip.

Will you trade?

Absolutely! I will gladly trade you if you happen to have any bootlegs that I don’t have yet. Basically, I’m interested in anything Dulli- or Lanegan-related. Feel free to contact me if you have anything to offer.

Do you also have Afghan Whigs bootlegs?

As a matter of fact I do. Lots of them. They aren’t on this website because… well, because it would be a LOT of work to put them on here and the thought of that makes me not want to do it. Maybe someday.
